skandrae | Brain? Brain? What is brain?

Well, I'm glad I limited my ranting to my LJ and not to the snarky text messages I wanted to send. The reason Sean forgot to get in touch with me (and why he wasn't awake to answer the mails I sent this morning) is there is a huge crisis with his mum's trip that he was trying to sort out last night that left him incapacitated with a huge tension headache. Apparently, he fell asleep with all the lights and his computer on, and the door unlocked, which never happens.

I'm not really at liberty to say (after all, it's not really my gossip), no one is dead or sick (at least, not until his Mum gets ahold of them), but it's a really shite situation to be in.

In other, all about me news, I got two pick-me-up pieces of mail today. Another postcard of awesomeness from

muffet_pie, and a card from my mom (whose broken collarbone is healing slowly but steadily) with a newspaper clipping about CSI. She highlighted the parts about David Caruso, and made mention of that youTube video that's seven minutes of DC putting on/taking off his sunglasses and delivering his one-liners. I remember, when I showed it to her over Christmas, she laughed so hard she almost choked. Good times ^_^

Now, to try and work up the energy to go to the gym, as it's likely the only time this week I'll be able to go.
