Violin violin violin!

Am I blowing this whole thing out of proportion? Quite likely, but I've wanted to play the violin ever since I was a wee lass back in T.O., supremely jealous of my friend KT, whose school had string instruments, whereas mine only had winds.

Sunday, brought to you by the letter "random"

We had a strange thunderstorm earlier...huge, loud cracks of thunder that shook my building and made the cats very unhappy. It was neat. And now it's dry and hot again, as if it never happened.

Violin was fun. I, uh, kinda want to buy one.

On tap for today? I finally got my grubby paws on the first season of Life on Mars (I know, I know, only a few millennia after the rest of the world) and, two episodes in, am enjoying it very much.

Also, I bought an electric fan for the living room, which is also made of awesome. Particularly as I am sitting directly in front of it, occasionally reprimanding the cats in a Terrible Voice.*


* I, uh, think I need to make some new friends, somehow, because I have spent most of today talking to the cats or to myself, and feel kind of lonely.

Blech

Worst. Muesli. EVAR.

I wish I had beer or a cheeseburger or a school lunch to drive the foul taste from my mouth.
