skimping on debauchery

Eye makeup + extreme nervousness + easy access to booze + lack of solid food = stabing pain in the left side of my head that just won't quit.
If I had known that all we would be served was a small salad and very tiny finger foods, I would have made sure to eat a big meal at home first. I didn't realize I was paying $35 to go to a restaurant and not be served food. And I wish I had taken something when I got home last night, because I could feel the headache starting, but pretended if I just ignored it everything would be okay.
Ibuprofen and a hot bath should take care of this. I hope.
