Sign-ups for sga_santa have just opened up. I'm torn between wanting to sign up, and wanting to keep my distance for fear of not-producing. I haven't had any luck with writing stuff since I wrote my smutty Sheppard-voyeurism Ronon/Teyla thing for last year's exchange. Part of it is a lack of desire to write fic, and part of it is just...oh, I don't even know what it is. I'm just not feeling it these days.

I have signed up for NaNo again this year (fourth time's the charm and all that), and have made contact with some fellow Wrimos in my area. I am planning to spend a lot more time in Tokorozawa, where this is a Starbucks, as opposed to my apartment, where there is internet access and a lot more reasons to get distracted.

Today was very long, for some reason. Vida's baby had a fever, so she left work almost as soon as she arrived. Sean and Pat were on the field trip with the youngest classes, so I was in charge of Star all day. I don't know how Vida does it every day - I was ready to duct tape them all in place against the wall to keep them out of my hair. That is why I do not plan to become a teacher in the future.
