If honey-roasted peanuts weren't intended as a breakfast food, they would not have been the first thing I saw when I went looking for foodstuffs this morning. I'm just saying, is all.

Survived Sports Festival, survived drinking at yakiniku with the few teachers who were drinking. Confirmed that I am defective in regards to talking to boys and taking steps toward talking to boys. Also, problems with flirting and smoking (being quit, I mean).

All in all, I wish we had one more day off this week, but since I have two excursions to go on, and one day of English, I suppose the week won't be too long.

Now I need to get a whole heap of chores out of the way before I leave for the Ghibli Museum. I have half an hour, can I do it?
It's nothing out of the ordinary, just some chili that I whipped up from a packet, but damn if it doesn't hit the spot right about now.

The Ghibli Museum was interesting. Looking back, I think it might have been better to get tickets to one of the earlier timeslots, in an attempt to avoid the hordes of screaming kids, but what can you do? Pat and I ran into a group of four moms from school and their kids on the train, all headed to the Museum, and we kind of wound up being absorbed into their group.

They thought we were on a date. *snicker* By the end of school tomorrow, the word will be out: I am two-timing Sean with Pat. Because two people of the opposite sex can't go anywhere together without dating. Be it the grocery store, the ramen shop on the way home from work, or the Ghibli Museum.*

Oooh, and they had loads of questions - where do the English teachers live? In apartments. Do the English teachers share apartments? No, we each have our own. Do the English teachers all live in the same apartment complex? No, we don't. But the English teachers do all live close to each other? Yes, we're all practically within shouting distance of each other. But you're not dating? That is correct, none of us are dating any of the others of us.

Oh, it was a fun day ^_^

*To be fair, though, it is a 'date spot' - just not for us.
