I think I was a little too Hardcore^TM in my cleaning efforts yesterday, because today I woke up feeling like somebody Vulcan neck-pinched my left side. Supreme pain!

So, I am having coffee, leisurely doing some laundry and cleaning out my fridge, and watching some Doctor Who. If only my goddamned neighbour across the street, Beth, would shut her obnoxious face up, this would be one of the best days off ever.


[EDIT - 2:11] I'm not sure which is more terrifying - a Dalek or a Cyberman.

I mean, Daleks want to exterminate humans, right? But Cybermen, in addition to killing humans, also seem to use them to make other Cybermen, which is pretty scary.

[EDIT 2 - 2:23] Okay, the catfight between the Daleks and Cybermen has kind of taken the edge off the fear.

D - "Daleks have no concept of elegance."
C - "This is obvious."

D - "You [Cybermen] are superior in only one respect"
C - "What is that?"
D - "You are better at dying."

Well, I just cried myself silly. I'd had all of Season 2 of Doctor Who for a year now, but couldn't bring myself to watch the last two episodes.

And now I have. And it's a good thing I wasn't wearing mascara.

Dear Airplanes,

You know what would be wicked awesome? If you would stop flying so low over my apartment. Also, if there was more than a fifteen minute gap between flyovers. Honestly, once Beth shut up, I thought I was in for a pleasant quiet afternoon and evening, but it seems I was wrong.
