I forgot to mention, in all my recent doom and gloom and rage over the stupid stuff at work recently, that we're getting ready to make the decorations for next year's Star Class. Sean and I will be in there together for most of the first semester, until Vida comes back from maternity leave. The class is going to be split up into two groups - the Sun group (the students who were originally enrolled and have had a full year of Star stuff), and the Moon group (the latecomers and newcomers starting in April). As you can see, we're keeping with the astral theme, here.

So, for the chart that goes up showing the kids' birthdays, we're using rocket ships and comets and things like that. Sean says I can make a black hole for the very centre and I can make some Puddlejumpers, too. How dorkily excited was I when he said that? Hee!

And the box that the kids have to put their daily notebooks and lunch cards in? Is going to be a spaceship...Nerd!
Tomorrow's lunch is assembled in the fridge, the garbage (including cat-box) has been collected and placed out on the porch, and a load of washing is ready to be hung out in the morning.

Here's hoping tomorrow (even though I'm on another bus shift) will be less scrambled than the other days this week. Except for maybe some scrambled eggs with bacon.
