Saturday night...the RD version

I spent this evening in Tachikawa with Sean, the Geisha-Boy, Geisha-Boy's friend, and Adrian. Suprisingly, I had a pleasant time.

Well, I always have a good time with Sean and Hiro, and since there wasn't any of that OMG, we should set you two up! vibe that was around the last time I met Hiro's friend Hiroshi, that was okay, too.

The best part, though, was the conversations between Sean and Adrian wherein the latter protested his heterosexuality a wee bit too much, tried to tell us that he doesn't throw up from drinking anymore (because it's unmanly to throw up from drinking, thereby showing that you can't hold your drink), and spouted off about why he doesn't buy things for Valentine's Day. Oh, and he kept trying not to talk about stuff because I was present.

As Sean said, I know more about sexual depravities than Adrian does. I think he meant that as a compliment.

And then, on the taxi-ride home, we had to pull over twice so Mr Manly-Man could throw up. Once again, I hold my liquor better than he does ^_^

In Which Our Heroine Is Picky

I was trying to read this piece of fic, but was thrown off balance by the incorrect word usage in the second word of the first sentence. I tried to get past it, but the typos just kept coming, and I had to give up.

I know I'm not perfect, particularly since I am losing my English-speaking/writing abilities, but still...

Today was a wasted day, and I feel pretty good about that ^_^
